When Waco Texas gets overrun by flesh-eating zombies, reporter Cindi Stater receives a battlefield promotion. It’s her job to cover the story while not being bitten by one of the undead in the process. As dashing as she is dangerous, Marine Stg. Jazmine Trout’s mission is to move unafflicted citizens to safety while searching for the source of the outbreak. Battling the ravenous horde, Cindi and Jaz stir feelings in each other that long for a home, but first they must escape Waco alive. With zombie tots, moseying brain-eating elders, and mad carnivorous cows stampeding towards them at a snail’s pace, can reporter and soldier end the terror and embark on a new romance, or are they doomed to fall prey to the Ambling Dead?
