Overview

Erica had a wonderfully normal childhood. She and her family were very close, gathering together for every major holiday and celebrating one another with a blanket of loving warmth. She had always considered her life to be far too cliche’, too storybook for anyone to believe so she rarely talked about family with her friends or colleagues. Erica had developed a reputation as a person who was bubbly, vivacious, and loyal to the bitter end. When told secrets, she kept them, as a shoulder to cry on, she was a pillar of strength. Erica was the quintessence of the all American Girl. After graduating from nursing school at the top of her class, she took a job in Chicago rather than stay in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Her parents and family were saddened to see her go, but they were equally excited for the new opportunity at the University of Chicago Medicine in the Pediatrics department. She had specialized in understanding and learning unique pediatric issues and that is exactly what she wanted. Her work life was splendid, though her personal life suffered. She had fallen into a routine of work, eat sleep, repeat. It would change dramatically when her new boss arrived. Erica had never seen another woman so beautiful, she had never looked at a woman in that way before. Her life as she knew it was about to change!
