How do you investigate a missing person case in a locked-down, empty city? A new virus ravages the world, deadlier than anything seen in modern times. The mortality rate is through the roof, but a small number of people appear to be immune. Hanna suspects she’s one of those lucky few. It’s five months into this nightmare and she’s still alive. But surviving is a daily struggle, even before she takes on a missing person case at the private investigative agency where she’s the office manager. A doctor has disappeared from St Thomas Hospital, and his family begs Hanna to find him. With the help of one of the vanished doctor’s colleagues, Hanna embarks on a mission that soon uncovers the corruption and greed of those who will stop at nothing to advance their own interests.
