Overview

Molly Murphy on her eighteeth birthday finds herself in the worst place a woman in Ireland can be in the 70's. A Magdlene Laundry. This is a place where women lose their freedom, their name and every part of their indenity. Rendered slaves to the church. It is here she meets a girl who seems more wolf than woman, a wildness she hadn't come across before, and that survived even in a place such a this... rather foolishly she finds herself feeling somewhat hopeful.
