What happens when your life falls apart with one thing after another? It feels like the whole universe has conspired against you. One thing after another is thrown at you, testing you to find your breaking point. How does anyone manage to stitch themselves back up after something like that? Meet Isaac O’Reilly. He is a 17 year old boy living alone with his daughter, Lily, in the small, fictional, rich town of Wavenhill, NY. He came out as bisexual and was widely accepted, or at least to his face. His parents passed away 3 years ago, but he had his friends. That was until most of them ditched him. He seems like a typical jock in school, but he hasn’t fit in with any of those guys in forever. He’d much rather watch old movies or play D&D than spend his Friday partying. He’s got his friends who he knows he’d do anything for them and they’d do the same for him. Enter Ivan Kadienz, the new kid. He’s got people in his life, but he’s not without his own problems. He too has a daughter, Lyla, at only 17 years old. He moved to Wavenhill for the high school’s brand new, well funded program for gifted students. He was so quick to move to Wavenhill, is there might be more to him than what meets the eye? When these two boys cross paths, the sparks fly. Will it ever burn bright or will it get smothered before it ever starts? And in such a small town, their sparks could start a fire.
