Mandi Travers has lost her Little. When she arrives for her stay at Rawhide, shy, traumatized and scared of her own shadow, Mandi's desperate to reclaim her Little side for herself. But Rawhide Ranch is loud and sometimes overwhelming for the autistic woman, and as much as she wants to make friends, hiding seems like a safer option. Master Derek finds her a job in the Littles' Library. Surrounded by books and under the watchful eye of the librarian Miss Grayson, Mandi begins to blossom. And soon she finds her Little, and her Little finds in Miss Grayson the Mommy she's always dreamed of. But Mandi can't quite believe that she's loveable, just as she is. And it'll take all of her Mommy's kindness and firmness to persuade her. Will Mandi ever learn that the best thing about Rawhide is that you don't have to fit in when you already belong?
