Fred Moonscale has settled into his new life on Starscale 1 with his new mate, Elio, and their first child together, Minter. The pair of mates are just as excited as everyone else for the casting of the first permanent Other World Gateway on any Starscale world but life is full of twists and turns and they miss the ‘grand opening.’ When things settle down they discover their flight mates have kept a secret from them.

Nelum doesn’t know what to make of the Starscale worlds at first. He only runs through their door while he’s chasing down his supper. He never expected the first word he’d hear from the strange group’s mouth to be ‘mum.’ Now, he has all these strange dragons claiming they knew him in another life but Nelum is more worried about navigating his future than resurrecting the past.

Love may stand the test of time but will the trio of true-mates be able to untangle the past from the present to bring all their families together or will Nelum forever live in the shadow of Lotus Cromwell?
