Overview

Jack Frost knows that happiness is overrated and out of his reach. Not that he’s unhappy. He’s bored. And when someone suggests that Jack pay old Santa Claus a visit one Christmas eve, Jack finds himself going out of sheer desire to do something different. And then he goes again. And again. Because Santa isn’t an old, overly jolly man. He’s young and fit and funny. And he makes Jack think that maybe happiness might not actually be unattainable.

Nick is happy with his job. He’s Santa. It’s the best job in the world. He likes his purpose, and he likes the certainty of who he is and what he’s meant to do. And he’s not willing to risk it for anything or anyone. He doesn’t want to be anything other than Father Christmas. He doesn’t want distractions or alternatives. Jack Frost, with his cool arrogance, definitely counts as both. But the more time Nick spends with Jack the more he thinks that maybe there’s more to life than his job.
