When a couple is found dead in their beds and Dorian ends up as the prime suspect, Miles and Leo race against time to uncover the truth.

Recovering from a gunshot wound to the head isn’t easy for Miles, especially when his father and lover team up to give him the very best care. Luckily, he’s got an agenda, and it doesn’t include kicking his feet up and healing for months in the comfort of his apartment with Simon at his side.

In a few weeks, he’s back on the job in time to be the first one on the scene of a grisly murder. All signs point to Dorian. No one would consider Dorian an upstanding young gentleman, but he’s adamant about his innocence.

Of course, Miles has his own struggles. Despite healing physically, he’s still dealing with persistent headaches and a new set of intense visions to go with them. On a good day, he just needs a couple painkillers to bite back the throbbing in his head. On a bad one, it can get hard to tell which way is up...

As the body count rises, each new clue narrows the window of possibility, but a surprise break-in and an unexpected familiar face throw twists into Miles’ investigation. Can he figure out who is setting Dorian up before whoever they are looking for finds them first?
