Overview

Andrea "Andy" De Palma grew up in the midst of a gang, founded by her father. Imbued with a sense of Italian pride, her early life revolved around drug trafficking and confronting anyone who crossed her path. Her ambition was to emulate her father's infamy, wealth, familial bonds, and command respect. She worked tirelessly towards these goals.

Intrigued by the romantic narrative of her parents, who married young, she yearned for a similar bond in her life. At 22, while relishing her singlehood, Andy also sought a partner with whom she could build a future.

This search leads her to Delaney Hershey, an affluent pre-med graduate holding a Bachelor's degree. Feeling compelled by her adoptive parents to pursue a medical career, Delaney, armed with a sharp wit, a rebellious spirit, and the intellect akin to a Harvard alumnus, decides to take a hiatus from her studies. She moves away from her parents, choosing to explore a life filled with more risks and adventures.
