Overview

Charlie has posed as a male since she was thirteen and joined the army. Now there is fighting between The States. During the first battle of The Civil War, Charlie is injured. She happens across April’s farmhouse. Not one believing in slavery or the war, April tends to Charlie’s wounds. A friendship grows into something more. But will their love survive the war, separation and April’s husband?
