The only certainty in smart-mouthed, full of bad attitude Stacey McGregor's life is that the moment she saw the beautiful, multi-talented Rebecca Marie Lindsey Danford, she knew her life would be changed for the better.

Stacey deals with an abusive father and no mother and a huge chip on her shoulder to survive her teenage years. Her only saving grace, besides Becca, is being smart to get into college and to become a medical doctor, where she can put that chip on her shoulder to good use. Becca, in the meantime, becomes a respected artist and maintains a steady foundation for Stacey as they build their life together.

Stacey and Becca's life is not without personal demons trying to blindside their quest for a happy and healthy life. They can only hope that obstinate perseverance is enough to survive everything life has to throw at them.
