This Christmas, I only want one thing…

My job is too stressful for a boy like me.

All I want to do is snuggle up with a storybook and relax.

Preferably with a Christmas story.

One day, my best friend’s Dad who’s a movie director stops by my work with an offer.

He says that he’s dressing up as Santa at the mall next week, and would I like to be his elf?

I get so excited that I nearly pass out at the till, but I say yes.

I’m supposed to help Santa hand out prezzies, although I hope I get to sit on his lap at least once.

When Christmas comes, I want to be more than his mere elf.

I want to be his boy, and I want him to be my Daddy.

On Christmas morning, I just hope he’ll read me a story…
