Ira is a monster as part of the HR team for a small printing and paper company in the city of Bethesda. However, that all comes crashing down in a flurry of red lingerie when his ‘boyfriend/boss’ offers him up to the mafia boss, Mars, as tribute. But tomorrow isn’t promised and the monsters of today are simply shadows of the monsters of yesterday. And no one can outrun their shadow, not Mars and especially not Ira.

Old wounds, old secrets, old enemies, and forgotten family return to the limelight and both Mars and Ira have to face the consequences of their past. Is what they have worth the trail of blood that follows? The blood of the mafia is thicker than the water of the womb, so is the price of power and love.
