Astra has been in search of her big break for years. Now, at almost thirty-years-old, she decides to audition for one last job before succumbing to the inevitability of a boring desk job. With a lifelong love of music and playing the guitar, Astra dreams of performing on the world-wide stage. She yearns to fulfil her dreams and play for packed-out stadiums, adoring audiences and fans. Unfortunately, her once-bright ambitions are fading fast…until she is invited to an audition for an upcoming star who is about to embark on a new tour.

Devon Samson has finally made it. Having worked her way up through the music business, she has finally been noticed and catapulted into the big time. With a tour of North America (and possibly beyond) imminent, Devon is forming a new band-a group of musicians with whom she can travel, live and share this with.
