SANDRA “SANDY” SWANN is a Private Detective.

Her father, Retired Police Officer, DANNY SWANN opened a Private Investigating agency after he "hit his 20" and took early retirement from the force.

Sandy was very much her Daddy’s Little Girl when she was growing up and became much closer to her father than her brother DAN SWANN Jr.

Where Dan, Jr. became a lawyer, Sandy only wanted one job: to be a partner in the Detective Agency with her Dad.

Not formally educated, Sandy is well-read as her Mom forced her to read the classics and be a well-rounded person.

She is a smart-aleck and her mouth can get her into tight situations as she doesn’t seem to back down from much. On the flip side, her mouth can get her out of tight situations as she has the gift of making up extravagant, yet believable stories on the fly.

During an investigation, Danny was shot in the back and, although not paralyzed, he is now completely retired and in a wheelchair most of the time.

Sandy is now the Proprietor and sole Operator of the Swann Detective Agency where she enjoys a cozy relationship with Older Cops friends of her Dad’s who are still on the Force and some of the younger ones who have gotten to know her.

Sandy dresses in a hip, stylish way that some might find mannish (her mother MAUREEN SWANN is in that camp - she thinks that just because she’s a Lesbian doesn’t mean she can’t be pretty).

Her mother may be off the mark as Sandy, like a Lesbian Marlowe seems to be a magnet for pretty Damsels in Distress.
