Overview

Tibis is ready to open his rescue, 2 Hearts Magic, specifically to search for and help horse shifters while rescuing horses from kill pens. When a black stallion captures his interest, he bids on it, not knowing it's an elven steed trapped in his equine form. When the elf shifts, Tibis realizes he hasn't just rescued an elf, he's rescued his mate.

But Tibis and Meic aren't alone, because Asur, a representative from Shifters United wants to talk about creating a safe house for wayward shifters at the rescue. He has his own agenda, and his own secrets. At the same time, Jay from 2 Hearts Rescue sends Vikam, a centaur, and his companion, an injured jockey named Fain, in his direction when they come to save some thoroughbreds from a kill pen.
