Overview

Intervene Agent Kathryn Austin went into her assignment—to get close to opera star Adriana Desi by “any means necessary”—with her eyes open. She was chosen because of her resemblance to Adriana’s dead lover.

Adriana is rumored to be the head of White Moon, a deadly terrorist group with rumors of future attacks.

At first the plan works perfectly. Adriana looks at Kathryn with pain, yet she can’t look away either. As they spend more time together, and Adriana seems less and less like a cold-blooded killer, Kathryn doesn’t want to admit that she wishes Adriana saw more than a dead woman.
