Overview

Giorgia is a very successful businesswoman. Starting with one restaurant in Manhattan, she is now the proud owner of four Italian restaurants in the New York area. For all of her business success she is a single lesbian woman who has recently turned fifty-years old. She has entered her “golden years” as a successful and lonely businesswoman. Giorgia wants to find her perfect “golden girl” that is willing to share her life and love, for better or worse. Giorgia is feeling down and beginning to wonder if she is meant to spend her golden years alone, suddenly gets news that her uncle Antonio, passed away leaving his rundown estate in Tuscany, Italy to her. Giorgia decides that she is going to spend the summer in Tuscany, getting back to her roots and seeing the area where her parents were from. She hopes to come back from this trip to Italy with some real Italian recipes that she can use in her Italian restaurants in America. Little does she know that when she goes to Tuscany, she will meet her “golden girl.” This is a woman of beauty not unlike the Italian goddess of film “Sophia Loren.” But there is one big problem—the woman is married to a nasty brute of a man. For Giorgia she felt that she had fallen for her “golden girl” almost immediately upon meeting her. The connection and the vibes she felt with this woman, gave her the sense that feelings were mutual. Without even passing a word, there was no need to—they both knew in their hearts that they were drawn together like two magnets. These two lost souls managed to find one another, against all odds, and their steamy lovemaking confirmed this relationship was meant to be. Giorgia must try to convince her to leave the brute of a husband behind and immigrate to America, so they could spend the rest of their lives together. Will she be worth it?
