Overview

Jade only has one final summer of freedom before she finishes her degree and begins her career. When her best friend Aubrey asks her to visit for the summer, she hesitantly accepts. Going home means confronting her past, both the good and the bad. Maya considers Jade more of a friend of a friend, but when Aubrey asks if Jade can stay with her, she agrees. It's a big step for Maya, who doesn't trust most people. She isn't sure how well they'll get along, especially considering Jade's penchant for casual hookups. As they grow closer, neither knows what to do when friendship leads to something more. Jade has lots of rules, and all of them have to do with not falling in love.
