Beaten down by shallow women and work she doesn't enjoy, Eva sometimes wishes she could have a real life deus ex machina--to be around more mature people, write a best-selling book, or get straight to her Ph.D. in history. But one night, she's about to learn deus ex machina is real. At a cocktail party, she meets the first billionaire professor, Rachel Peters. Seeing the potential for great work in her--among other things--Rachel asks her out so that she can make an offer that will amaze her. Eva accepts the offer... and then realizes she wants more from her than just the deal, and that something gets realized later on that night as feelings are exposed in full, and Rachel's true nature is fully exposed!
