Kezia was ever-present, often overlooked by Beatrice, and when acknowledged, taken for granted. Kez resembled a ray of sunlight filtering through the branches, an imperfect metaphor considering her penchant for brooding, yet apt, as she radiated unnoticed and unacknowledged, frequently cloaked in obscurity. Kez cherishes Bea. Bea cherishes Kez. Yet, simplicity eludes them.
