Given the choice to either spend a summer day at an amusement park filled with screaming kids or be shot out of a cannon into the sun, I’ll gladly volunteer to go out with an explosive bang on the intergalactic trip of a lifetime. It would surely be more enjoyable than listening to children shriek like banshee demons while I slowly die of heat stroke.

The last thing I expect is to have a meet-cute with Prince Charming. As a card-carrying grump, I should be immune to Everson’s sunny charm. But something about him makes me want to enjoy the sweet summer heat and maybe, just maybe, a steamy night together.
