Overview

Talyn is looking for a little adventure, and a distraction from her day-to-day responsibilities as a dignitary’s daughter, when she sneaks off her parents’ ship at a foreign port. As an elf grown, she’s ready to see the world and make her own way in it without needing to worry about her family’s name or reputation.

Korda is looking for a tidy profit and, just maybe, an evening’s company when she encounters the clueless daughter of some distant noble family in her home port’s market square. As Captain to the best crew in the region, she figures a little ransom with a pretty elf princess will be a quick, easy way to have some fun and make a bit of coin in the process.

Neither of them is expecting to be drawn to the other, but their attraction is undeniable and their time together reveals that they just might end up with more than they bargained for. Talyn sees an opportunity to escape her stuffy life as an aristocrat once and for all, while Korda finds the elf’s company enticing and exciting – but will it be worth taking the gamble and bringing someone so inexperienced into her crew?
