A short story of The Heaven Trilogy, taking place six months after the events from The Enemy of Heaven. Raphael and Dante spend their first winter in the mountain.

Raphael and Dante are on the run. They traversed the high mountains between the Throne's Land and the Fertile Land, searching for a new cozy home under the sun. And, they've found the perfect place, with a view as breathtaking as it is dangerous. No guardians to disturb them and no civilization nearby.

Truly, a Heaven worthy of its name.

But living in isolation is not as sweet as it sounds. The mountain can be a ruthless host for two city boys. They survived in hiding during the summer, but winter brings a whole new set of challenges.

This short story takes place six months after the events from The Enemy of Heaven (Book #1 of The Heaven Trilogy). Tales of Heaven can be read as a standalone short story. There are a few minimal details that may be lacking for those who haven't read Book #1.
