When Detective Tallie Tait joins the Wayvern Police Department, no-one could have predicted that a huge murder case is about to be blown wide open. Tallie has special abilities. Since an accident when she was young, her mind has worked in different ways. Able to ‘tap in’ to other people’s thoughts, feelings and emotions, her psychic abilities allow her to know things which seem impossible to others.

Upon meeting Detective Quinn Hansen-her new partner, sparks fly. An intense connection is immediately apparent between the two women and as Quinn tries to figure Tallie out, Tallie attempts to hide who she really is.

Developments in the case mean that Tallie has to react quickly. More men are turning up dead and the mystery as to who is responsible grows. As Tallie reveals herself by discovering more victims, Quinn is even more intrigued by the fascinating woman and demands that they get to know each other a little better. Pulled together by the case and invisible strings of attraction, Quinn and Tallie work together to find out who it is that is murdering young men in Wayvern.
