Overview

Jade is raised by her grandfather who is set in his ways, and his experience of the past is his present. This is the lesson he passes on to Jade - the color of the human skin is the blueprint of who they are. Jade lives her grandfather's conviction and his words are embedded in her veins. Everyone around her knows her position. But love does not care about the barriers we think we need to protect ourselves.
