PRAISE

“An unusually uplifting horror anthology that brings both chills and tender moments.”

—Publishers Weekly

"Neon Hemlock consistently publishes fantastic work, whether it's their anthologies, collections, or novella line, and The Crawling Moon is no exception. The stories are decadent, atmospheric, and beautifully written, effectively leaning into Gothic tropes, and embracing their darker and queerer elements. There are lonely mansions, imperiled, isolated individuals, and those hanging on in the margins of ruin and embracing the beauty of decay. The stories are strong throughout the collection, with none that were a complete miss for me. That said, the authors whose stories really stood out for me were: Hailey Piper, Lyndall Clipstone, M.L. Krishnan, Suzan Palumbo, E. Saxey, Marianne Kirby, E. Catherine Tobler, Shaoni C. White, and Bendi Barrett. Overall a fantastic read. Highly recommend for Spooky Season, or really any season at all!"

"...will take you from perfectly dreary-creepy moods to blood-spattered climaxes."
