Overview

Psychologist Sarah Vitale has lived a lonely life dreaming of the perfect love, home, and family; things that have been difficult to find. When she moves in as a roommate with her friends, Jude and Tillen, as well as the homeowner, Fiona, she finds all of the things she had ever wanted in the most unexpected of ways and with the most unexpected of people. As she manages to fall fast and hard for the withdrawn, anxious, overly guarded Fiona, Sarah also faces the fear that her past may reap hellacious consequences on any hope for a future. In the meantime, she helps one friend navigate through the process of transitioning from Male to Female, and brings two other friends together in romantic union. Each member of this chosen family finds love, happiness, and their own version of freedom. This is a story that includes characters from multiple aspects of the LGBTQ spectrum.
