Overview

Nine years after committing a heinous crime against the Fae, Chiara thought her trespass had been forgotten. She thought wrong.

Now an evil queen wants more than Chiara's life – she demands her love as well. Forever.

Seeking retribution, she drags Chiara into the Otherworld and gives her a near-impossible task: She has nine days to find the gate to the mortal realm or be trapped in the Otherworld forever.

Desperate to get away from the queen and back to her old life, Chiara is prepared to face nasty fae, a dangerous world, and overwhelming odds to gain her freedom. What she isn't prepared for is Shea, a cocky faerie huntress who dogs her every step.

The stakes are high, the temptations deadly, and failure looms at every corner. Chiara can't let her guard down. She needs to be focused and determined.

She needs to not fall in love.

But as she navigates a twisted world, Chiara learns about an ancient blood and faerie secrets which have shaped her fate. And that infuriating, intoxicating huntress is tied to it all.

What happens if she succeeds?

And what happens if she finds she has a reason not to leave?

About Lucy True

Lucy True writes quirky urban fantasy and paranormal romance. She also writes lesbian romance as Jea Hawkins.

She is a gamer, lover of history, as well as strange and whimsical things. There should probably be an “I Brake for Cemeteries” bumper sticker on her car. A passionate genealogist, long-time cross-stitcher, and kitchen witch, she lives in a one-horse town in rural eastern Nebraska with her sometimes-better half, two witchlings, two cats, and a very loquacious caique.

About Jea Hawkins

Jea Hawkins writes sweet and spicy contemporary lesbian romance. She writes all her paranormal romance and urban fantasy as Lucy True.

Regardless of genre, if love conquers all, then she’d like to think her heroines can rule the world one day. An east coast transplant to the Midwest, she loves to write about complicated women and settings that feel like home. Her historical / contemporary romance, As Long As Love Lasts, has been nominated for a GCLS Literary Award.

Personal addictions include genealogy, autumn, cozy sweaters, hot chocolate, and the Sims 3. She’s both an avid reader and gamer, and hopes readers don’t mind a few geeky references here and there in her work.
