Overview

Somehow, Hannah Zeeman manages to negotiate her life journey through a minefield, a veritable 'no man's land', a space and place existing beyond those boundaries that demarcate the mundane safe zones of normal life. Of course, Hannah's life was always far from normal, right from when she was a schoolgirl. She grew up to become a radical feminist, lesbian, and anarcho-communist. She also self-identified as a Christian and Marxist and devoted Fashionista, referring to herself as a Lipstick Lesbian. With verve and aplomb, she negotiates her journey through that metaphorical minefield of glaring and explosive parodies and inconsistencies and contradictions, engaging in multiple love affairs with various women, exploring the dark outer limits of theology, and engaging in the philosophical quest for certainty. There is a Socratic dimension to Hannah's erotic quest for authenticity and truth in the zones beyond the pale. She would have been at home at Plato's Drinking Party.
