Overview

Lexie Walker has been working in residential construction in New Jersey for the last fifteen years. Her love life consisted of a few one night stands or a few romances that lasted a short time. Now at the age of 33, Lexie finds herself without a job. Her boss due to health reasons decides to shut down his business and retire. Lexie finding no other opportunities for work, decides to head north and see what that part of the country has to offer. She drives through NY and gets off the main road in Vermont. She sees a lake and decides to stretch her legs and look around. As she's walking toward the lake she sees a house being constructed. Thinking this is too good to be true, a man approaches her. Lexie soon finds she has a job working on building the home for the man's daughter Ann. As soon as the two women meet, the sparks are there.Ann Crowe is skeptical at first that her father hired a woman off the road, but the two women soon become friends. Ann being a lesbian in a small town with no prospects finds herself attracted to Lexie. It's only the thought of Lexie leaving after the house is finished that keeps her acting on her desires.Can Lexie find enough work to stay in Vermont or will she have to move away?
