Overview

Passage Island is a cold and desolate place just out of sight of Anchorage Alaska. Sailors say the lighthouse that sits atop the tree covered dot on the map is haunted by a monster, and though Catherine had been called everything from a succubus to a demon, she wants only for life outside of her prison of water to leave her alone. When the lighthouse is taken off of automation, she must once again suffer the company of another when Josephine takes on the job of the winter caretaker. A failed writer and a kindred spirit, Josie finds that the ghost of Passage is not a monster, only misunderstood. When Josie begins to fall for the lovely spectre, Catherine must decide to let her in or push her away to continue her existence in solitude. Will love prevail, or will the cold Alaskan winter freeze the warmth that has grown between them?
