Now that Luke and Jack were together, they were more than eager to take some big steps. A proposal to live together made them realize that Abel still didn’t see himself as equal in their relationship.
Reassuring the little was now their main goal, both Jack and Luke wanting Abel to see his self-worth.

It was still a weird for Abel to be seen as something else but a bother, but under the warm love of the two caregivers, he starts to accept that they might be right, and he was worth something.

And it wasn’t just the caregivers that let him know that he wasn’t a nuisance. Being a little and a cop was still a rare combination, but with the support of his coworkers, he started to feel as an asset at work as well.
And when they found a hurt little who didn’t trust anyone but other littles, having a little on the team proved to be rather useful.
