"Out and About" continues the journey of Tess and Jane as they strengthen their love and devotion to each other; ridding more skeletons from their closets. But now that Jane is out of the "work closet", Tess must help her learn about, lesbian culture, ,when Jane wants to go to a lesbian bar; or deal with Jane's homophobic family, as well as the inequalities for gay couples as when Tess sprains her ankle and they have to go to the hospital or when they try to buy a house together.
