Angelica She’s ten years younger than me. Beautiful, sweet, pregnant and a patient. Why do I find myself so drawn to her? Eden How did I end up in Saint Croix—an island in the beautiful Caribbean? Well, they offered me one hundred grand to have their baby. Of course, I agreed! I would've been all sorts of crazy not to. Now, I'm sitting in a the waiting room of the doctor's office I visit on schedule as we get closer to the delivery date. And I'm wondering exactly why the parents of the child I'm carrying are late and haven't shown up yet. I'm getting more and more worried by the passing hour. In the meantime, I use the time to stare at the lovely doctor who's been taking care of me and this unborn child for the past few months. Sometimes in life we never know which way we'll end up going, which worries me since the road I'm on is about to get really bumpy.
