The Warm Season

Overview

In February, on a cold, snowy day, Rita leaves her partner and business in Chicago. Penniless, she seeks shelter in Sienna Hutchinson's souvenir store. She stays and eventually helps Sienna fix up the old place. Chemistry between them begins flowing like a river.

A boyish black woman, clearly gay and outspoken at times Rita does not want to push her sexuality off on Sienna, her opposite. Sienna is a white, feminine woman Rita considers “straight,” and caught in a bad marriage. Will Sienna leave her husband and will they defy all the odds and get together as a couple?
