When Cassandra Maidment meets Jeannie Hill, she mistakenly hears her name as ‘Genie.’ With Cass jokingly requesting if she grants wishes, Jeannie not only plays along but also tells her that her first wish is granted-that she will have the new job she needs and desires so much.

When Cassandra’s wish comes true, she cannot help herself…she goes back to the café where she met Jeannie to speak with her again. The two women bond over a surprising amount of commonalities and decide to meet up and share dinner. With a second wish asked for too, Cass begins to feel hopeful once more.

Cass is then invited to Jeannie’s house and it surprised and disappointed to find out that Jeannie already has everything she could possibly want or desire at home. Jeannie has a partner, a daughter, a beautiful home and even two dogs. The perfect set-up. Cass’s last wish is immediately banished from her head…she had planned on asking for love, a request she had hoped would begin a relationship with Jeannie.

As Cass’s and Jeannie’s daughters play together, the two women find themselves thrown together more often. Despite the obstacles standing between them, neither one can deny the fierce attraction which exists between them. Nor can they explain the feelings that grow and build as time goes on. With one wish left, will Cass be brave? Will she finally ask for love?
