Slade Delany is an FBI agent living in North Carolina. He and Cole Gregory have been friends since their army days. Working at different field offices, Slade is planning a visit to Cole with the intention of taking their relationship to the next level. When Cole mysteriously disappears Slade is concerned, but assumes Cole is on special assignment. Then, while hiking in the Smoky Mountains, Slade has an encounter that will change his life forever.
