Overview

Samantha Morrison is stuck: after crashing her car years ago, she's reliving the same day over and over again. Every escape attempt ends in failure and an angry boss; all she can do is wait tables, bide her time, and try to keep others from falling into the same trap. Jennifer Kieu's ex-girlfriend ends their cross-country road trip by dumping her on the side of the road, next to a decaying mining town called Sulfur Falls, where she finds a place to stay on Sam's couch. Intrigued by Sam's pretty face, refusal to talk about her past, and strange insistence that she leave, Jennifer decides to stay. After all, what has she got left to lose? If hell is other people, then purgatory is a nosy roommate... but escape might require both of them to reveal things they'd rather leave unsaid.
