Life is not easy. Even if, on the surface, it seems that way.

Fraser has magic, and is part of the esteemed Guardians of Humanity. He is a member of one of the founding families of said Guardians, and an elite spellsword, trained and deadly. He even has a best friend, whom he's known for most of his life, who has always been there with him.

But beneath all of that, Fraser's life is a mess. He's lost access to his magic, his parents are controlling and domineering, wanting him to be someone that he knows he is not. And worst of all, he knows that what they have planned for him, he is completely against. It doesn't help that he doesn't know what he wants either. Who he truly is.

This is Fraser's story.

A trans tale of self discovery, of romance and learning the depth of relationships, of fighting for your place in the world, and perhaps even the truth behind the origin of magic.
