Daryl Price has never cared about anything. Nearing her fiftieth birthday, Daryl is beginning to wonder what the point of it all is. The garden center she inherited from her late aunt is barely functioning, she’s been unlucky in love, and no one seems to appreciate her. But, when her mortgage company threatens to close her business, Daryl’s best friend Robin enters her into a local flower curation competition to win the funding to keep her shop open. Leah Vargas started her plant nursery to escape her city life, but her recent breakup is making her wonder why she left her vibrant lifestyle to begin with. Her shop is thriving with locals and transplants, but she’s craving adventure. Forced onto a team for a collaborative portion of the New Winford Garden Showdown, Daryl and Leah will have to work together in order to win the prize money at stake. But, can they overcome their wildly contrasting stylistic and personal differences in order to win the competition... and maybe each other's hearts?
