After several years, Detective Rachael Archer returns to her college town for a very special case: a high-profile murder case of the town Mayor and a local witch, and she may have gotten more than she bargained for. The prime suspect, Katrina Le Gris, is also a witch who has a shady history with both victims, and everyone believes she's guilty. Who better to clear her name than Rachael, right? Except she also happens to be Katrina's college girlfriend who broke her heart and burned that bridge. Or so she thought. The two have to work together all while facing magic, mayhem, and wounds from the past. Otherwise, who knows what may come of poor Katrina Le Gris?
